Marymccatcat is a Twitch streamer known for co-op gaming, jump scare reactions to the max, a close-knit community and a sense of humour that tends towards the dark. Her streams are personal, direct and rarely overproduced. Her cats play an ongoing role, whether they intend to or not.

CONCEPT

The strategic goal was to build a distinct, community-first visual identity that feels native to Twitch and works across streams, socials and merchandise. This included the development of a logo and a flexible visual world with a strong personality.

CONVERSION

The art direction revolves around two illustrated characters inspired by the contrasting moods of mary and her cats. They act as visual stand-ins for tone, emotion and sarcasm, giving the community something recognisable to rally around. The result is a branding system that doesn’t try to be polished only appropriately sharp.
